EKATRA-2026 , the Annual Cultural Festival of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Architecture, Pune, was successfully conducted over four days from 20th to 23rd January 2026. The festival served as a vibrant platform for fostering creativity, teamwork, leadership, and holistic development alongside academic excellence. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, creating an engaging and inclusive campus environment.
The theme “Divine Demigods” was conceptualized around the four cardinal directions— Purvas, Paschimas, Uttaras, and Dakshinas —encouraging students to explore mythological symbolism, regional diversity, and artistic expression through a wide range of performances, costumes, and activities.
The festival commenced with an energetic inaugural ceremony featuring flash mob performances, graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Vivek Saoji, Vice Chancellor, BVDU, and Dr. Asmita Tai Jagtap, Executive Director, BVDU. The subsequent days featured student-organized flea markets, sports competitions, dance battles, fashion show and cultural night. A key highlight was the student fashion show, judged by Ar. Pooja Janrao, Entrepreneur and Influencer, and Ar. Siddharth Aldangady, Alumnus of BVDUCOA and Founder of Elysia Architects Bureau, who commended the creativity and innovation demonstrated by the students.
